Updated Research Reintegration Plan

These actions will allow researchers to return to 100% research effort in all on-campus spaces including faculty offices. All researchers are encouraged to voluntarily 上传在新窗口中打开 他们的COVID-19疫苗接种记录. This step is mandatory for those researchers who are traveling.

  1. 面罩的. All members of the University community, including contractor’s agents and employees, must comply with the California Department of Public Health’s “Guidance for the Use of 面罩的” dated July 28, 2021, including the recommendation that all individuals regardless of vaccination status must wear a face covering indoors, 至少到9月30日, 2021. Individuals do not have to wear face coverings indoors when (a) alone in a private space such as an office with the door closed, a living unit or vehicle; (b) eating and drinking; (c) showering, 洗脸, or brushing their teeth in a residence hall or other University facility with common bathroom facilities; (d) directed by a health care provider to remove their face covering for care or treatment; (e) an accommodation is required; and/or (f) job duties make a face covering infeasible or create a hazard. Face coverings are recommended for unvaccinated individuals outdoors where six feet of physical distancing cannot be maintained. 
  2. n - 95面具. N-95 masks are available upon request for individuals vaccinated or unvaccinated against COVID-19 through the Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
  3. Physical Distancing/Barrier Requirements. Physical distancing or barrier requirements regardless of vaccination status are no longer mandated except for very limited circumstances such as during an outbreak.
  4. 病例报告. All researchers who test positive for COVID-19 or become aware that they may have been in close contact with someone who either has tested positive for or is suspected to have COVID-19 are strongly encouraged to report the positive result or exposure using the COVID-19 自我报告的形式在新窗口中打开 在泰坦回归的网站上.
  5. 隔离和检疫. All researchers must comply with any directive from a University or health official requiring them to isolate (if they are experiencing symptoms or test positive) and/or quarantine (if they are exposed to someone who has tested positive or is suspected to be infected).
  6. All researchers are required to 完成更新 COVID-19 health and safety training在新窗口中打开 available through Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) prior to returning to campus to resume their research.
  7. 健康筛查. Prior to arriving on any University property or participating in any research activity, researchers must conduct a personal health screening and self-monitor for COVID-19 related symptoms. These include having a fever (≥ 100.4 ºF), cough, sore throat, chills, headaches, new loss of taste or smell, or shortness of breath. Those experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms may not come to any University property or participate in any University-related activity. 除了, campus community members who develop COVID-19 related symptoms while on University property or participating in any University-related activity must leave campus or remove themselves from a University-related activity.
